Your child is unique and should have a unique therapy plan. Your child’s therapist will work with you and your child to determine which modalities and therapeutic techniques will best meet your child’s needs.

Big Brother/Sister Mentorship Program

PRP for children ages 5+, teens, and young adults

MEET OUR PROVIDERS >

  • 1 weekly session with a caring, frum mentor/PRP counselor who serve as a positive role model
  • At home, school, or anywhere in your community
  • Transportation included
  • Focused on building life skills through recreational activities handpicked for your child
  • Collaborates with therapy strategies and goals
  • Options for 1:1 support, sibling support, or small social group support
Who qualifies
Children (5+) with Medicaid insurance who are in active therapy or ready to get therapy started
  • Reach out to us and let us know you are interested in having your child paired with a big brother/sister or mentor
  • Your child’s therapist will send in a PRP Referral. If your child does not yet have a therapist we can get that process started for you.
  • We will then schedule a meeting for you with our PRP Intake Coordinator to create an individualized recreational and goal oriented plan for your child
  • Their handpicked big brother/sister/mentor will reach out to you to schedule the weekly visits
  • The big brother/sister/mentor will reach out to your child’s therapist to collaborate on strategies to build the desired skills and reach goals

Our therapeutic big brother and big sisters collaborate with your child’s therapist to ensure they are working together to help your child reach their therapeutic goals.
This is a community-based program: it can take place anywhere your child lives, plays, or learns. Think school, shul, the playground, the library, or even your home. The visits can be any recreational outing your child would prefer. Transportation is provided, so there are many opportunities for your child to expand their horizons. We also offer services within our state-of-the-art facility, which includes a rec room, lego room, play room, and art room.
Participants in this program have worked on skills while doing all kinds of fun things including playing sports, bowling, nature center, hikes, shopping, going out for coffee, creating art, dancing, exercising, personal training, and socializing. Big brothers and sisters help their mentees develop in any area where mental health symptoms are holding them back.

Psychiatric Services Medication Management

For children ages 3+, teens, and young adults

Under the close supervision of our Medical Director, get the support your child needs to manage their mental and emotional health.

  • Health and wellness consultations

A comprehensive clinical interview conducted by our Medical Director.

  3. You will work together with our Medical Director to develop a treatment plan and determine the best plan of action for your child’s care.
  4. Based on your child’s unique needs, recommendations may include health and wellness guidance, medication management, and/or additional emotional support.

Clinical Evaluations

Psychological Evaluations

Have your child assessed by an experienced clinical psychologist to identify the root cause of challenges and receive recommendations to properly address your child’s needs.

The evaluation will assess various aspects of functioning, including:

  •  Cognition (intellectual ability)
  •  Learning & memory
  •  Academic achievement
  •  Social & emotional functioning
  •  Behavior
  •  Adaptive functioning
  •  Attention & executive function
  •  Visual-motor processing
  •  Phonological processing & awareness
  • Call us and tell us about your concerns.
  • We’ll schedule a meeting for you and your child with our clinical psychologist. 
  • During your initial meeting, the psychologist will conduct a comprehensive clinical interview.
  • The intake is followed by 2 half-day sessions of formal testing where the psychologist will engage your child in a series of one-on-one tasks and activities. 
  • Once the evaluation is complete, you’ll be invited back for a feedback session to discuss the results. We’ll present you with a formal report of the findings and recommendations, and guide you toward your next steps.

Psycho-educational Evaluations

Have your child assessed by an experienced clinical psychologist to diagnose and evaluate functional and educational difficulties.

The evaluation will assess various aspects of functioning, including:
