Leah Malka Pasch is a Certified Clinical Social Worker originally from Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from Florida State University in 2001 and then her Masters of Social Work at University of Maryland in 2006. She has trained with Dr. Alicia Leiberman, the creator of Child Parent Psychotherapy, an early childhood play based trauma model. She spent 9 years in the public school system providing clinical consultation and therapy for preschool through middle school age children. She serves as the Director of Student Counseling at a local Jewish Day School as well as providing Individual therapy to individuals, children and families at her private practice. She has been a school based program manager at Villa Maria of Catholic Charities and provided clinical supervision at multiple institutions. Leah Malka says the best thing about working with children is the invitation to see the world from their perspective and support them within their family, allowing the whole family unit to grow and become empowered.
