Shana Birnbaum, LMSW is a Licensed Social Worker who has experience working in a clinical setting with children and adults. Shana has had clinical experience in Baltimore city schools and in individual counseling through her internship at Catholic Charities in addition to her work as the social work intern at Bnos Yisroel.
Shana has worked with children, adolescents and adults from a wide spectrum of backgrounds in both group and individual settings for several years and in many settings.
Shana uses a strengths based approach while integrating various therapeutic modalities in order to help her clients to develop a greater self understanding and empower them to overcome any obstacles they face.
Shana’s experiences are enhanced by her work as a psychiatric rehabilitation counselor for over 3 years.
